Byzantine Music Lessons
Free educational program

Together with the Conservatory of Corfu, the Byzantine Choir of Corfu organizes courses in Greek Byzantine Ecclesiastical Music.
- The courses are provided free of charge (apart from examination cost and enrolment fee for the Conservatory)
- Recognized Certification
- Systematic tuition in accordance with the tradition of great teachers
- Teaching of the Byzantine octave and eight-tone-motive and its according branches
- Teaching of balance holding
- Teaching of formal elements
- Teaching of chorus/ choir
- Practice and participation in the Byzantine Choir of Corfu
- Organisation of events
- Participation in worshipping ceremonies

The courses are offered in North, South and Central Corfu, and in particular at
